Hi! This is Henry. Why did I create this?

I wanted to host a philosophy conference for high school students who would like to present their research. I wanted collaborators and to let this opportunity be known. I was shocked when nothing I was looking for came up from searching passion project launcher or find people to collaborate with. We should have one, so I built this.

You see, building this could have been way easier and sooner if we had something like this.

Each and every person has a unique set of interests - and when they overlap, that's what changes things. The problem right now is that we don't know if there are people with similar interests to us, or at least, we don't know who they are, and they don't know who we are.

For instance, I was looking for an illustrator for my Philosophy for Toddlers: A First Peek Into... illustrated book series, where I present children with some food for thought - moral scenarios, metaphysical questions, or epistemological doubts. For my audience, I want to include illustrations. I can do philosophy, but my drawing always fails my goal. Where can I find this illustrator?

Trust me, not by Googling, at least not systematically. I had to find an illustrator on some Discord server I randomly posted my call for an illustrator on. How many more projects could youth have done if there were a system for doing? Would the world have been a different place?
